So if your food cost was 1 mill, so was your gold cost. Both cost an escalated amount, and linked to each other. Yes it will comfort a few times, and thats a pain in the but a few times is MUCH better then non stop 24/7. The other alliance members were doing what they could to rei food and gold, but at every 15 min interval I would hammer the town, and I was able to get the resources out before they stacked up to the 5 million or whatever they were. I ran into this recently while capping a bot town. Once the troops are gone, the food would be looted fast, leaving little to no time for the reinforcements to make a difference. This is totaly useless due to the fact that you cant have that much in Wherehouses. Praying uses 10% and increases in amount every use.ġ00m pres player uses 1m food to pray each time? This is good because bots would usually use scouts to transport food/gold into a city being capped. BUT, there is still a good thing, it takes 1 million. Praying doesn't take the full amount, yes. if it was an intentional change, i hope that you, evony, are taking steps to a REFORMED comforting system not a band-aid. i feel more like its back to the way it was. now that a 100 mil prest player can use 1 mil food to lift prest by 25 for as long as he wants all day, i dont feel the same way about going to pvp. Can any evony reps or devs comment on this change? I honestly LOVED the idea that I could go and capture another players city with out his bot sitting around for 3 days comforting. What has happened? I would like to know how intentional the change in the praying comforting function was. but wait, it doesnt take the full amount of res to comfort using praying? it only takes something like 10% of what its supposed to? not only that but i heard tonight that disaster relief will still cost the appropriate amount. This caused another change evony took out the ability for players to drop prestige by quitting alliances (as with almost any change on evony this caused great uproar for different reasons by different people across both ages). It also resulted in players excessively dropping prestige so that their comforting would not increase as high as 10 million as fast (the base comfort level was set by prestige). This resulted in many things including HC's on age2 being taken which couldnt have been done previously due to alliances botting comfort scripts and such. They made a gradual system so that third-party programs (bots), and habitual comforters, could no longer sit in their cities and comfort with no troops or walls for DAYS on end. For their own reasons, people hated it but luckily it all resulted in evony changing things up. For a long time people have had a problem with the comforting system evony had in place.
